Everyone knows Craigslist. It is on of the most visited sites on the internet. It’s a great place to find a used car, apartment, or job. There are many internet “guru” types that say you can “Get Rich with Craigslist.”
I don’t know about getting rich, but you can get traffic.
There is a section on Craigslist called “Services Offered” and there are “small biz ads” in that category. This is where you are allowed to post links to your website(s).
According to the Craigslist Terms of Use:
you may NOT post content
k) that constitutes or contains “affiliate marketing,” “link referral code,”
“junk mail,” “spam,” “chain letters,” “pyramid schemes,” or unsolicited
commercial advertisement;
l) that constitutes or contains any form of advertising or solicitation if:
posted in areas of the craigslist sites which are not designated for such
purposes; or emailed to craigslist users who have not indicated in writing that
it is ok to contact them about other services, products or commercial interests.
m) that includes links to commercial services or web sites, except as allowed
in “services”;
There are a lot of spammers out there who totally abuse these policies; I would suggest you do not. Just post your website links where it’s allowed and you WILL get some traffic.
